Guide to copying from camcorder, then converting to DVD.
Let's get started!!
Ok, you've copied the film/movie to your computer using the software that came with the camcorder, the hardest bit for you now is locating the film/movie file (on your computer). If you go into the software that came with the camcorder, it should give you that bit of information, or you could use the windows search. Right, so you have found the film/movie file, good!.
Before you go any further we need to download and install ConvertXtoDVD
Once you've done that, open ConvertXtoDVD. Once open, click on "file" at the top left hand corner, then click "add video file". Locate the film you'd like to copy, click on the file to install it into "ConvertXtoDVD". When you've done that, hit the "convert button" which will start the DVD copying/conversion process. Open up your DVD-R rom, insert a blank DVD disc. When the windows box comes into veiw, hit the take no action, then sit back and wait, go get a coffee!.
ConvertXtoDVD will do the rest. Easy eh?.
Guide to copying DVDs to DVD
Copying a DVD to DVD is a lot easier than you think, with the software products available on the net today.
To copy your DVD to DVD you'll need 2 software products,
1. To copy the DVD, I use (1 Click DVD Copy Pro) you
can download a copy from here
The second is to remove the copy protections of the DVD.
The one I've used for the last five years is DVDghost. It worked ok for me, you can download a copy from here or you could try DVD43 which is freeware.
Now when you open your DVD copying software either DVDghost or DVD43
will open automatically and run quietly in the background removing the DVD copy protections.
All of these software products are compatible with..
Windows ME, XP, Vista and Windows7 etc.
All you need to do now, is install both (1 Click DVD copy Pro) and either
(DVDghost or DVD43) once you've done that, open "1 Click DVD copy Pro"
by clicking on the icon on your desk top.
Now "1 Click DVD copy Pro" is open you can set the desired language.
In the
"copy preset window" set to "movie only-feature movie-remove extras".
Load the DVD that you would like to copy into the DVD-R.
"1 Click DVD copy Pro"will now locate it, and the "start button" will light up,
once lit "click" on the "start button", when "1 Click DVD copy Pro" has finished copying the DVD, it will open the rom drawer for you to remove the film/movie DVD.
With the drawer still open, just pop in your blank DVD-R,
close the draw and click burn.
You will now have a perfect copy of your DVD
that will play on any DVD playing device.
